Red Kite full induction programme

When you sign up to a full induction programme your Early Career Teacher (ECT) and their mentor will receive a two-year programme of high-quality, research led training, based on the Early Career Framework.

It is free to access and the programme is designed to be delivered in bite-sized, manageable chunks that can be completed within the ECT’s dedicated off-timetable time. As well as statutory funding for ECT and mentor off-timetable time and free training and support, schools accessing a full induction programme will be entitled to additional funding for mentor training (equivalent to 36 hours of backfill time over two years per mentor).
