NPQs and CPD

Red Kite Roundhay-214

Teachers and school leaders across the region can access a comprehensive suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Red Kite Teaching School Hub, a unique collaboration of strategic partners from across North and West Yorkshire, is delivering a comprehensive NPQ and CPD programme in partnership with UCL.

There is one NPQ cohort each year, starting in autumn, with funded places strictly limited and allocated on a first-come basis. We encourage early applications to secure your place.

The programme represents the most widely recognised set of qualifications in the education sector for current and aspiring leaders. It is designed to fit in with the day-to-day realities of supporting teacher development and is structured to help teachers to integrate theory, practice and feedback, minimising time out of the classroom.

"I am getting so much out of this course and think they are being delivered fantastically well. The shared practice and debate they raise is brilliant but also the confidence it has giving me to go have those challenging conversations. I think my all-round practice and school approach has improved due to working with yourself and others and I wanted to share this as it benefits our school going forward."
