Andy Colman

Having trained as an English and Drama teacher in the mid-nineties I’ve worked in various schools in North and West Yorkshire and still love the buzz you get from classroom teaching! I recently moved from being Head of English at Ilkley Grammar School (2005-2020) to my role as ECF Lead and ITT Coordinator, whilst working as an Early Career Lead for Red Kite. I particularly enjoy supporting new entrants to the profession (and their mentors) to ensure they get the best possible start as teachers of the future generations of our children.
