Katie Arthur

With over 9 years experience of working in and around Teaching Schools, I have worked in all areas of teacher development and CPD from the first professional steps with initial Teach Training and the Early Career Framework through to National Professional Qualifications in Executive Headship, and everything in between, running large conferences at large external venues to the smaller professional specialist CPD sessions.

Seeing colleagues from the first cohort of trainee teachers I worked with years ago, coming through to the leadership NPQs, I feel proud of the part I have played in their professional development journey.

Helping teachers develop their skills and continue with their CPD over the years has inspired me to develop my own and I am due to start a Project Management Degree via an apprenticeship through Red Kite Learning Trust.

In my spare time I like to go to the gym, wild swim, knit and crochet, although most weekends you will find me in at dusty race field where my children are racing their Autograss cars.
