Jo Mottram
With over 22 years of experience as a primary practitioner, I possess a wide range of teaching & senior leadership experience and knowledge developed across a wide range of primary settings. From early on in my career I took a keen interest in developing and supporting colleagues around me. Inviting them into to my classroom to team teach, observe, reflect and discuss the practise they had observed was fundamental to their success. I am passionate about developing my colleagues and growing the next generation of teachers.
Having an in-depth knowledge of, and using the current CCF and ECF, I have a wealth of experience in delivering effective support for trainees and ECTs in schools across our region. Being able to tailor the appropriate advice and support is a fundamental part of the role I play and something that I thrive on. As all trainees and ECTs are different, I recognise and implement a high level of flexibility and adaptation of the framework in order for all ECTs to be challenged resulting in success outcomes.
I am passionate about the role and love working alongside colleagues across all phases resulting in positive outcomes for the children we serve.
