HubTalk: What are Computing Hubs and how can they support schools?

This HubTalk will focus on the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) and the Computing Hubs that support schools across England.
Helen Cotton (Primary Lead for Yorkshire) will speak about how schools work with the NCCE to raise confidence within Primary teaching staff, and how the DfE funded support on offer has impacted the teaching and learning of computing across primary and secondary schools.
There will be a short introduction to the fully funded Teach Computing curriculum which contains everything that is needed to teach computing at KS1 to KS4, including lesson plans, slides, worksheets, homework and assessment. A selection of freely available resources to support the teaching and learning of computing will be provided, with some top tips around using technology within the classroom.
