Help your students recognise the links between Maths and Science
The curriculum is not always designed coherently, resulting in pupils not seeing links between different subject areas, even when identical or similar concepts are involved. This programme aims to address this.
The Programme will explore:
A range of concepts that are taught in both Maths and Science, the pedagogy participants of different subjects would use when introducing these concepts and decide on a common approach.
Different materials and activities that can be used in both areas to make links between the subjects
Collaborative planning of resources and also planning their own lessons whilst taking these links into account
Dates & Venue
Two participants from each school (one Maths and one Science teacher) will attend 4 full day sessions
All sessions will run face to face 9.30-15.00.
