NPQ Applications

Red Kite Teacher Training (49)

If you are interested in completing an NPQ commencing in November 2024, please complete our expression of interest form here

All NPQ programmes are subject to a rigorous quality assurance process. Our trained assessors review applications using a thorough scoring system and the questions are designed to allow candidates to demonstrate key evidence of the competencies we’re looking for. We use a blind screening model; this means we won’t know your name, school or position / job title when screening your application. It’s important to make sure your application shows the assessor why you should be accepted to complete your NPQ of choice.

As well as gathering key information about you, our application consists of three questions, each with a 400 word count limit. In order for your application to be successful, you need to ensure:

You have familiarised yourself with the programme and the NPQ content and assessment areas.

You use the word count and supporting bullet points to fully explore the question asked with plenty of detail and examples.

You avoid spelling and grammatical errors.

You demonstrate a good understanding of the programme, and the impact it will have on personal development, or within your schools and communities

You detail your readiness to take on a leadership position, and skills to be developed.

You reflect on NPQ leadership developmental areas and the impact that this will have on yourself, your school and pupils.

A pdf version of the NPQ application form can be found here.

This pdf version is just so you can see what questions are to complete – please do not submit this version
